Plate G2.no16: The Gare Loch (West coast of Scotland)

This picture was taken as I gratefully paused, whilst training one day for my next challenge trek (one of six, undertaken between 2016-2018).*
It is not difficult, to photograph beautiful things when that which one photographs is already beautiful. Nature has a remarkable tendency to make such exclamations, and somewhat effortlessly it seems.
Such was the case here – I just pointed and fired, and so the drama was captured.
I adore that drama; I adore the ‘God-light’, the complementary colours, the scope, and conception of it all – but more so, I adore how this picture makes me feel. It provokes an inner joy, totally unadulterated……
