Plate G10.no6: Mojave Desert Nevada (USA)*

We spent a night camping in the Mojave Desert on this trek. To be honest, there wasn’t much trekking done – but I didn’t care. I’ll remember that night and following morning until the day I die.
I woke early, and watched the sun rise, so slowly and rich as if it were truly gifting life back to the world. That was an especially memorable moment – but the evening before was as memorable, watching as the sun set, as it turned the surfaces of the earth into something alien, other worldy, pulling colours as it set out of the rocks as if for one last magnificent infused and glorious crescendo.
What a place…what a performance…
