I like pylons. I know that they can be considered blights on the landscape – but whoever thinks that, presumably does not consume electricity?
Seems to me that if we want the power, we need to accept the infrastructure – and anyway, I reckon the landscape is robust enough to handle some man-made intervention. Personally, it’s the man-made stuff that attracts me to be honest. That’s the bit that I find most interesting, even if it is deemed abrasive – I actually think of it as embellishment……
