Plate G7.no17: Castle Varrich – Tongue (Scotland)

Castle Varrich has a long history. It is believed to have been a site worthy of inhabitation, since (really) ancient times, as a place offering protection and sanctuary. The ruins of the castle as currently standing are themselves over a thousand years old.
