Plate G7.no19: Castle Varrich – Tongue (Scotland)

I had a lot of fun manipulating this picture. It wasn’t done for any particular reason; it came about just because I was trying to sort out some contrast issues. But the colouring just happened……and there it was……
I must say, I generally prefer it if there is a justification for manipulating a picture to such a degree. EG: because the mood, or the time, or my frame of mind is better expressed by the manipulation. But in this case – the day was nothing like this, it was bright and cheerful, as was my mood. I just like the way it turned out……it’s become scenography and reminds me of the types of horror movies I used to watch as a child.
