I developed an interest in photography many years ago, in the era of film photography – this gallery presents a selection of photographs that I have gathered, both from that time, and more recently, from the ‘digital’ age.
The topic is primarily, and perhaps inevitably, architecture. They are selected from various travels, often from study trips arranged as part of the University education programme – an invaluable experience.
Again, these images are presented, not in any particular order. They are selected because they are personal favourites – especially image i and ii, which were taken on my first camera, a Nikon, (built, as I remember, like a tank!) and self printed, a craft I never truly mastered but loved none the less. A special mention too for image vii – simply because it’s of one of the most amazing spaces I’ve ever been in!
