On the 24th April 2016 I took part in the Glasgow City Council hosted ‘Kiltwalk’, in support of children’s charities.
The walk offers attendees the choice of three lengths of walk: 6 miles, 14 miles or 26 miles. I did the 14 mile stretch, from Clydebank, and finishing at Balloch, Loch Lomond, along with friends from the local Garelochhead Medical Practice, practice nurses Louise and Sylvia.
The walk was completed in support of The Brightest Star charity, established to support bereaved families that have suffered the death of a child.
