Along the way the walk passed through Glasgow Central Station, the Argyle Arcade, the Peoples Palace, as well as some of Glasgow’s other architectural highlights: the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the University of Glasgow (cloisters) and the Zaha Hadid Museum of Transport.
Thanks go to all who attended, and especially to the guides (students from the Department of Architecture, University of Strathclyde [especially Alissar Riachi]), and to Ruairidh Moir of BARD Architecture, who produced the little maps that were distributed along the way (maps which mapped out Glasgow according to a range of other architectural typologies.)
The day raised over £500 for the charity.
Intentions are to run the walk again, in 2018 hopefully as part of the Glasgow Doors Open Day festival.
