There were a number of moments like these on the canyons trek – moments when scale and time just kind of hit you, and you have to take a moment. By all accounts this valley was eroded by a river……I suppose it’s not surprising, therefore, that now, the river is pretty small, almost a stream in places……it must be exhausted…
