PHOTO GALLERY 7: RUINS

This gallery presents a selection of photographs of architectural ruins, both old and new, located predominantly in Scotland and England.
Notably there are a number of St Peters Seminary at Cardross (designed by Gillespie, Kidd and Coia Architects), a contemporary masterpiece, now sadly crumbling. There are also photographs of several Scottish tower houses, a favourite topic, plus others garnered from treks undertaken.
Ruins simply enthrall. I expect as time goes on, as ruins crumble, my portfolio of ruin photographs shall just grow and grow.
