Plate G5.no19: Little and Large – Cumbria (England)

Partly the reason for including this picture is to act as a counterpoint and help illustrate comments made regarding composition in plate no.15 of this Gallery.
Simply put, I rather enjoy the balance, of the one tree versus the other. Despite the size, in compositional terms there is equilibrium – which is curious, because it’s not so in reality.
And supposedly the camera never lies…
