Plate G5.no18: Trees at Kidston Park – Helensburgh (Scotland)

This was another picture, like plate no.17 of this Gallery, that sat for a while, in the un-loved folder. But – with some cropping and a bit of manipulation, it suddenly came alive.
The location is Kidston Park, a place of fond memory – where I remember both my children playing happily together…… its not much of a place in reality, but it’s made mighty special by such a delightful re-collection……
I heard once, the telling phrase that trees are the lungs of the earth. Its hard not to think, looking at this picture, that trees so imbued are like treasured memories too, that they both help us to breathe…
