Plate G3.no16: Chimneys (Dublin)
Someone, I can’t recall who, but certainly, someone architecturally related once described Dublin to me as if the city itself were not unlike a small house, not unlike the houses from which it is (predominately) made.
I didn’t set out to illustrate this observation. Nevertheless, when I look at this picture, somehow I am reminded of that conversation, and grateful, that Dublin, unlike many other cities, leaves a lot of room for sky……
