Plate G2.no23: Loch Slapin, Skye (Scotland)

At first glance this is a fairly straightforward picture, and its reason for inclusion basically, because of the colours – which are rather lovely, it must be said.
But I hesitated for some time over this one, because, except for the pretty hues, what else was there? Reflection photographs, unless the reflection is so exquisite and/or the overall composition is enhanced by the combination, are not in my opinion that interesting. And this picture evidenced neither of my pre-requisite conditions.
But then I noticed, something that had been staring me in the face all along – there was no reflection……
