Plate G2.no4: Moon on the A817 Haul Road (Garelochhead [Scotland])

Driving home late one night, though tired, I stopped my car just off the A817 (otherwise known as the Haul Road), near Garelochhead. My attention had been drawn to the colours of the sky, reflected in my rear-view mirror.
I didn’t think much of the picture at the time. It has however grown on me, and considerably so, partly because of the colours, more so the blatant comparison of man and nature.
Of the former, it’s worth noting that the colours have been manipulated, but only slightly – the sky in Scotland actually does this, and for free……
Of the latter: I live forever in hope that what man makes will eventually succeed nature. Its flaws are unjust. The picture reminds me that we have however, a ways yet to go……
